About The Walkers Club
The Walkers Club began with a simple conversation.
One Friday evening in Drymen, the first stage of Scotland’s iconic West Highland Way and the start of the Rob Roy Way, I was chatting to two walkers who had spent the day exploring Scotland’s trails through changing weather, stunning scenery and the kind of moments that make these journeys unforgettable.
Tired but proud of completing the first stage of their walk, they mentioned how much they wished they had a way to capture the memories, thoughts and feelings from the journey while everything was still fresh in their minds.
That conversation sparked the idea for The Walkers Club.
What started as an idea inspired by two walkers on the West Highland Way has grown into a community built around Scotland’s great trails, helping walkers plan, experience and remember their journeys.
Today, The Walkers Club offers route inspiration, planning tools, passports, journals, finisher keepsakes and Walk Buddy, helping walkers connect with others exploring the trails at the same time.
Whether you’re preparing for your first long-distance walk or returning to a favourite route, our aim is simple:
to help you make the most of every mile and create memories that last long after the journey ends.
Happy walking,
Ruth
