The WALKERS Club
Who We Are
The Walkers Club was born from a simple truth: walking has always been at the heart of my life. In my 20s, two close friends and I spent weekends exploring Scotland’s hills, planning every detail of our long walks from the Munros we’d climb to the cosy cafés we’d rest in along the way. Those adventures were full of freedom, laughter, and discovery.
As time passed, family, work, and later severe asthma meant those big walking weekends became less frequent. But my love of walking Scotland’s trails never faded. Whether heading out with my dogs, packing a picnic, or pausing to take in a Highland view, walking has always been a source of joy and connection.
That passion inspired me to create The Walkers Club, not just as a place for planning routes like the West Highland Way, Great Glen Way, Rob Roy Way, and Southern Upland Way, but as a supportive walking community in Scotland. For us, walking isn’t only about covering miles; it’s about stepping into history, following in the footsteps of others, and creating your own story in Scotland’s living landscape.
Here you’ll find practical tools to plan your next long-distance walk in Scotland, along with tips, inspiration, and keepsakes to celebrate your journey.
